A free Bible app with no ads and no AI chat

• The whole Bible, free and offline. Reading Scripture shouldn't sit behind a paywall or a signal bar.
• No ads between you and the text.
• Real Scripture. Every verse quoted from a named translation, never generated or paraphrased by a model.
• Transparency. If anything was drafted with AI assistance, the app should say so and say how it was checked.
• Private notes and prayers. They should stay on your device unless you choose otherwise.

Each morning: a verse, a little context about who wrote it and why, one question to think about and a short prayer. Then the whole Bible is there to read, search, highlight and take notes, offline.

• No ads. There are no ad networks in the app.
• No AI chat. No chatbot, no AI art, and nothing is written in the voice of God or Jesus.
• Transparent about how it's written. The short reflections are drafted with AI assistance and checked line by line against classic public-domain commentaries. Every verse is real Scripture, never generated. Read “How we write Ankyra” in the app and report anything that doesn't sit right.
• Private. Your prayers, notes, highlights and searches are never uploaded, analyzed or shared. Not even with us.
• Six languages. Berean Standard Bible, King James Version and World English Bible; Reina-Valera 1909 and Nueva Biblia Viva; Bíblia Livre; Lutherbibel 1912 and Elberfelder 1905; Louis Segond 1910 and Darby; 文語訳聖書. See licenses.

Free, forever: the whole Bible in every translation, offline; the verse of the day and Today; search, highlights, notes and share cards; your streak with grace days; three feelings plus every feeling with crisis resources; five active prayers; the Start here and Advent plans; widgets and the Apple Watch app.

Ankyra Plus is the guided path: every plan (including the Bible in a year), the full Today archive, all feelings with their prayers and unlimited prayers. If you can't afford it, tap “I can't afford it” for six months of Plus, no questions asked.
